But for me the PowerPoint add-in approach to authoring is an uncomfortable compromise. Yes, you have the familiar PowerPoint interface but all the interactive elements are completely separate and never quite integrate as you'd like. You can import from PowerPoint or Articulate Studio tools if you need to.

Another example is the HTML5 support for PowerPoint, which Adobe is promoting heavily. It’s not even this particular version that disappoints me; it’s the overall lack of vision that Adobe has clearly shown in this release. Note the scroll bars needed for all devices except for the iPad in landscape mode.
