I will zig back and forth, not staying with the typical linear method so many folks find endearing. From a vendor perspective there was a huge impact, but what was odd, is that some vendors still are living in the past, as though, this is a minor blip, and in 2021, everything will go back as it was – corporate wise that is.

Never assume that they know the terminology in the industry, nor assume that what you think one term means, doesn’t necessarily mean what the vendor thinks it means. In the Enterprise and Large Enterprise it is not uncommon to get pricing that is quite high, especially if the vendor knows procurement is involved.

In the past year, I have seen a wider number of vendors including the PENS course standard, which in my opinion, enables anyone who builds courses, a streamlined and fast process for publishing into a LMS/learning platform. Additionally, why would a vendor want to offer it? How difficult is it for a vendor to add PENS?
