The one good thing that came out of it was that at least MIT recognized this failure and has additional information: MIT Interpretation of "Non-commercial" ": Non-commercial use means that users may not sell, profit from, or commercialize OCW materials or works derived from them. The guidelines below are intended to help users determine whether or not their use of OCW materials would be permitted by MIT under the "non-commercial" restriction.

The latest group of tabs to catch my eye include the following: Training Sites. OCW : . The first five sites commoditize training on a range of technical topics. The last group of sites are all tools that are designed to allow users to easily create mobile apps, including one which lets you do that on a mobile device itself. Do our publications and sites echo with design discussions? . I read my browser tabs like tea leaves I think.

Top 10 eLearning Predictions for 2010

Prediction #9 => Open Content I’m not sure why this already hasn’t had a bigger impact, but workplace learning is going to start to catch up on the value of OCW and OER. As is the fact that we need to design for the User Interface Beyond the Web Site. Before I start with any of my actual predictions, let me throw in an overall prediction that the year is going to start off slow for most people, but by the end of the year, we will all be thinking: “Wow, 2010 was a crazy year!”
