What we expect to happen in 2008 is an explosion in the use of "self-published content"- that is solutions which enable learners to reach out and support each other.

Examples are Winkwaves , Tomoye , icohere , etc. It requires more technical knowledge and the necessary support must be well thought through. You do not have to find new external support. The design process is longer.
