In 2003, the eLearning startup I worked for shuttered its doors as our customers moved to adopt SCORM, and we had no idea how to do that. My job was to help author SCORM 2004, focusing on how to develop content that would work in SCORM systems. We intentionally licensed the specification Apache 2.0 Grainger, Inc.
