In 2003, the eLearning startup I worked for shuttered its doors as our customers moved to adopt SCORM, and we had no idea how to do that. My job was to help author SCORM 2004, focusing on how to develop content that would work in SCORM systems. The LRS could be the part of an LMS that receives data from an eLearning course.
