Among the current key rapid authoring tools are: Adobe Captivate – Not for the dilettante, being priced at some £1,750. Adobe has had to address HTML5 issues and, no doubt, will embrace the issues posed by the up-and-coming Tin Can. It complies with SCORM 1.2, 2004, AICC, Tin Can (Lectora 11 onwards) and XML.

Studio has always been known for the PowerPoint to Flash approach, but it also includes audio narration, TOC (yeah!) This is an extremely easy product to use and IMO the reason we have a huge rapid content authoring tools (regardless if you think that is good or bad), because IMO I believe that they were the first ones to do it right.
