Other fun tidbits AICC was the leader here, then came SCORM. There were LMS vendors certified by AICC, but the majority were not, and yes, some said they were, then you go to the AICC web site and see that they are not. Then, came Oracle, who purchased Taleo. It was truly the wild west back then. NetG ruined them).

SCORM/AICC. If this is something you are looking for – i.e. a HCM, then they are the ones to go with – over Cornerstone, Oracle-Taleo, SumTotal and alike. SCORM/AICC. The system can either be SaaS or hosted on your own servers. 90/10 standard feature set. The user interface has come a long way.

SCORM/AICC/PENS/IMS. Can integrate with various HRIS or ERP systems including Oracle, SAP, Lawson. Those that don’t are due to: Your tool works only with SCORM 2004 3rd edition, and your LMS only accepts AICC. Facility management. Ad-hoc reporting – i.e. you create your own custom reports.
