My goals for selecting a content authoring product are as follows: Ability to easily import from existing course materials made in Word and PowerPoint Ability to export to SCORM 1.2/2004 All the products I selected have the following attributes: Create SCORM 1.2/2004 Lectora I choose Lectora as the next piece of my tool kit.

The first time I heard the term SCORM was about 10 years ago. I worked in the higher education industry and SCORM just wasn’t a big player there.
