On the home page the product is able to recommend courses based on what courses have been started and completed – per user. While the UI is vastly improved, on the admin side it needs a slight touch – but don’t get wrong the product is doable and nice. Works with SharePoint 2007 and 2010. Social learning.

Most of the time (as is the case with Oracle) these are different products. 17 2007 - when their satisfaction score is being reported so low. I know the folks from CornerStone and their product does some really interesting things. Update, Nov. However, when you get low counts, the numbers are highly suspect.

Why do companies continue to pay huge dollars for products that are now being offered for free? Moodle and other open source products have huge communities behind them. According to an eLearning Guild survey conducted in 2007 , 18% of respondents in corporate settings reported using Moodle. Which is still a whole LOT of money.
