Something is Going on Down there in the LMS Market

35 tablets will hit the market starting in early Q4 to late Q1 2011. Samsung Galaxy S is expected to be the first real challenger to the iPad, it runs on Android OS, offers Flash 10.1 million tablets to be sold by the end of 2011 & over 208 million units in 2014. Again, the iPad runs only with HTML5, not Flash 10.1.

A calling to a large number of vendors (small, medium and big), are all reporting strong numbers in January, with many saying that January 2011, was their best month – numbers and business wise, in the last few years. Some solutions really becoming a turnkey PowerPoint to Flash product with minimal features or very basic.

LMS Vendors: U Can Survive – Innovate, Invigorate and Invent

Majority of employees access a LMS or Learning Portal out of the workplace. 35 tablets by the end of Q2 2011, on top of the 30+ already in the market. HTML5 will be available on every one of those tablets, plus they will offer Flash (notable exception the iPad). Plus the iPad. I’m sorry, why the wait?
