Last week, I attended TK 2012 in Las Vegas. Nice selection of vendors – in general. For PPT lovers, you can synch video files with PPT with drag and drop. This is one of those blended learning solutions, I previously noted. They are an online authoring system. Thus you can have on-site training.

Perhaps they are unaware of online authoring systems offering assessment features. PowerPoint – Ability to integrate or use PPT in your courses. What does it all mean? It isn’t.

Times are changing – trends in the content authoring tool market

You work online via the servers of your vendor. Everything is saved online. I had thought that this trend would be dying out, but it is amazing at the number of vendors who are entering the space and still focused on the desktop approach. Remember when only a few offered the PPT to Flash option in their tools?
