CBT was the “new” and exciting way to learn. Everyone I knew, followed the ADDIE approach. If you wanted micro-learning, you could do it.

And they hired you because they want an LMS or whatever they call those things – a learning system, they might say. Again, Workforce Development I once had a CEO who espoused the message of learning and training for all employees.  It can be solved with a learning system and online content.

The same can be said from a learning perspective. I am always bothered when vendors see the entities as one in the same. Ask yourself, how many HR people do you know that are aware of ADDIE? What about Gagne (if you are one who still sees it as an appropriate mechanism behind learning)? . They are not. I doubt it.
