Hmm, let’s see NetG (back in the day), Skillsoft, Playback Media (not the new one out there, but another one – may the rest in peace), a few other shops and Rosetta Stone (yes, that Rosetta Stone). The vendor – Skillsoft. SCORM and AICC.

Courseware LMSs – Good or bad for the industry?

Maybe you purchased it via Open Sesame, or Skillsoft. Skillsoft – The behemoth of the courses/content space. A key factor is that Skillsoft has acquired many course providers in the past and with that have good and bad mixed together. Skillsoft I find is very flexible in this regard (as a whole). Course rating: B.

ATD2015 Conference Post – Review

I can honestly say, the ATD show is changing from ILT driven (it has always been that way) to e-learning improvement. This year, I estimated a 55/60% e-learning, including some ILT vendors offering some type of e-learning component. . Thank you, thank you. On with the show (no pun intended). Good Surprises.

Ability to upload a course or courses from a 3rd party course/content provider (example: Wiley, Skillsoft, etc.). A calendar – Should have scheduled items on it, could be webinars (online only), seminars (ILT), online group whatevers , days you can’t be bothered, etc. As long as it has one of these.
