Basic experience with image, audio, and video editing is beneficial. I use the open source tool Audacity for audio editing. When job listings ask for “SCORM” knowledge, they usually just mean knowing how to publish from Storyline or Captivate in SCORM format. Media Tools. Photos and Images. Microsoft Office.

One option for recording audio is Adobe Audition. If you prefer a free alternative, Audacity is another great choice and easily enough gets the job done.

Elearning standby Audacity continues to be a good choice for exporting audio, while ImageOptim is the best tool I’ve found for optimizing images for web and mobile delivery.
