Are they better suited than anyone else for Enterprise or Extended Enterprise? SuccessFactors – Just for those folks to remember, SF is owned by SAP and had acquired Plateau. They haven’t been Plateau for a few years, so stop calling them Plateau – a pet peeve of mine. Blackboard.

The Extended Enterprise blog post and directory will be visible this weekend. Now some of these systems will offer hosted on your own servers – if you demand it – but their goal is to have it “in the cloud” What about Extended Enterprise or academia/education? Extended Enterprise. Blackboard.

A few of the more interesting graphs that you can't really see well except by going and seeing a larger version at LMS Satisfaction and LMS Barriers and Features. But it's not really an enterprise LMS and has some very serious deficiencies when it comes to many of the needs of corporate training departements. NetDimensions Enterprise.

Blackboard Collaborate – I actually liked this when it first came out, but since then I have heard from folks who use it, that well, it isn’t as great as it could be, let alone good. I mean Plateau was really garbage and then SF took it over and made it way better.
