World of Learning Conference Review

While I am sure that occurred at WOLC, the ones I gazed at, which were presented by vendors, had no sales pitch whatsoever, rather it was all about a specific subject tied to e-learning. I know a few vendors who had multiple meetings each day with potential clients – and the ones I am referring to where LMS vendors.

Customer Complaints, How to Avoid the Traps

Sometimes it is a result of the vendor, other times it is a failure of due diligence on the part of the soon to be customer. The vendor’s salesperson tells you want you want to hear. 3rd party contractors/vendors – Creating a Course 4 U. That said, I am extremely picky on who I select and often will use previous contractors who I know can meet and exceed my expectations, as well as my deadlines/deliverables, etc. Oh, one note: My rule is always to find small boutique firms, or 1-3 teams to build my courses.

Product Review: Plateau TMS (Talent Management System)

One note: the front end may look different, depending on what module you select i.e. PCS, PL, PS or PP. While the UI on the front end has been overhauled, the same cannot be said for the Admin side. Yeah, try that on a busy day, which to IS/IT staff is every day. One cannot exist without the other.
