Popular tools such as Captivate, Articulate and Trivantis' own Lectora still do. If, on the other hand, you are talking about toys as opposed to tools of the trade - and I like toys as much as the next person - then $99 seems about right. When I buy a toy I have modest expectations about utility and don't expect any support.

Captivate 6 from Adobe - www.adobe.com/products/captivate.html - makes producing and distributing video easier than ever. It allows you to edit video, and add transitions, smart shapes, audio, and captions.

It's the same in my office - I have a fantastic system with studio-quality monitors and headphones, I have my iPod connected to this and an account with LastFM. But again, I rarely take advantage of these options. I just can't concentrate when music's playing.
