I was surprised at the number of vendors offering a blended product – with ILT as more of the focus then their WBT counterpart. Mindflash.com bills itself as a training management system, with the ability to create and upload courses, invitee end users (learners) and track results. What I found was a solution that is a rapid e-learning authoring tool that offers easy to use functions as uploading learners and basic tracking results. Create a Course.

I can honestly say, the ATD show is changing from ILT driven (it has always been that way) to e-learning improvement. This year, I estimated a 55/60% e-learning, including some ILT vendors offering some type of e-learning component. . As well as compete against someone else.

Innovation abounded and the push to focus on the “PPT to Flash&# angle continued to shine. OR you can create courses SCORM 2004 courses within their tool which is in the “cloud&# and do the same thing. Sure, other vendors will say you can do that too, but you have to open each object file to get it.
