Now you can explain the difference between what is actually your SaaS system from the IT perspective and how it is different than what other people call a SaaS system, but here is thing. If you offer the SaaS option and the consumer hosts it on their own server, fine.

What is true is that there are plenty of awesome systems for less than 25K and even sweet systems with very nice feature sets for under 10K. I’m not talking about freebies such as Moodle or Sakai, but actually commercial systems. These are folks who are going to use your system. In the cloud or on your own servers.
