Three months ago, only a few systems had either integrated for no additional charge or for additional fees, a talent management/performance management feature set. There is a growing list of vendors, including small/mid size that are adding talent management components that match the Big Dog systems. Ahh, how things have changed.

Well besides my rankings of course, think about this: 1st vendor to offer collaboration and peer review. 1st vendor to have online/offline mobile synch. 1st vendor IMO to truly have HTML5 output. Adobe Audition CS6 integration – sweet! How far are we talking about? HTML5 output. Twitter widget within product.

Mobile learning – it might surprise you to know that 75-80% of all systems in the space, currently do not offer any type of mobile learning, the number goes up even higher for online/offline synch. Congrats, you are probably looking at less than 10 (based on my LMS directory which contains 475 vendors).

I love Questionmark, its a wonderful product and it can use a “connector” to integrate into your learning platform or system. PLUS if you have APIs that offer additional assessment or data functionality and it can be integrated into your system – all the better. Yes, it has a mobile component too.

The course they show you uses educational terms, not corporate terms – which is funny since the product i.e. integration with Salesforce.com is purely corporate. Many vendors stated as such to me. I was surprised at the number of vendors who had no idea on what is Tin Can. Education you say?

Here are a couple of reality points that most vendors fail to recognize: Most end users access off site their systems, unless they are hourly and their only option is to access via work. I only know of a few vendors who have integrated FB and Twitter APIs into their systems – so it is actually Twitter and Facebook. .
