The hype on the product was huge, after all, the company’s revenue has increased significantly over the past two years. Search Connect – their search capability within the product. Podcast capability – every LMS should have this feature. Product in general. The same can be said for Cornerstone OnDemand.

I’ve really been watching this space for the past two years, and while there continue to be enough products that fit within this category, I’m on the belief that this space is on the downside. I love Questionmark, its a wonderful product and it can use a “connector” to integrate into your learning platform or system.

I check out the giveaways (hey, at least I’m honest) and gauge if the vendor has a demo or just a CD/DVD with their product – for you to take back with you to your room. Always ask the vendor if it is available to buy and “live” I recently attended a trade show, whereas the vendor showed off their new product.

Yet, there were some products that stood out, if nothing else – for taking the lead and doing something that says “yes it is possible, and oh, it works&#. 2010 E-Learning 24/7 Awards (No official icon logo handed out to winners, rather just a “WHOO-HOO&# – uh, you can make that sound to yourself.thank you).

Continued increase in the number of vendors, regardless of size or target customer size (i.e Expect to see an increase in systems adding compensation, other workforce mgt features and benefits to their products. The freebie does not offer SCORM nor monitoring, but has social learning, assessment tool inc. small biz, smb, etc.)
