Elluminate has real-time captioning available (I’ve never seen anyone use this in a presentation before–very nicely done. Technorati Tags: tcc08 , tcc2008 , accessibility , online+learning , universal+design. Hearing audio content. Hearing and speaking during synchronous meetings. Accommodations. Captioning.

When I liveblogged the TCC 2008 conference , I always had the Elluminate presentation up on my primary screen (my desktop computer) and my blog on my laptop. Synergy lets me easily switch focus back to the Elluminate screen to join the backchannel chat or answer a poll; you just move your mouse over to the other screen and type away.

Tagged either under Development Tools or Cloud. I also like to make occasional visits to Google Labs and Adobe Labs to "keep up" with the tech tools they are working on and to test drive any beta versions available. When I do find interesting tools I will keep track of them using my Delicious account.

User tagging is an important aspect of sharing content that many social media tools promote. Structure allows us to make sense of information by defining a limited and logical set of tags to describe a set of content. Just because someone has a questions doesn’t mean they have to be prioritized. It was distracting.”
