I never understood why vendors love to place the pricing in the far back of their proposals, some of which I have seen that are more than 25 pages, as though you are going to start on the first page and read through. Just as I can’t figure out why vendors love giving you their history as if that is going to sway you on buying a system.

All the big browsers are supporting it i.e. Safari, Chrome, Microsoft IE9, Opera and soon FireFox (at time of writing, not yet). You can build courses in HTML5, as you would in Flash — thus as rapid e-learning authoring tools see this as common place, they will need to adapt, thus enabling HTML5 files to be inserted.

That said, why is this happening: A significant (over 90%) of vendors are holding off this year and at least part of next year from optimizing their solution to the iPad. I’m sure they tested with IE, Firefox, Safari and Chrome, but what about Opera Mini? Gartner projects 54.8 million units.
