Apparently, the potential customers and even clients are speaking and those vendors are listening. Not just a few vendors, the industry as a whole. That smartphones were the answer to mobile learning.

Innovation abounded and the push to focus on the “PPT to Flash&# angle continued to shine. You get the Flash code – YES – you get the code, which you can do whatever you want with it. Sure, other vendors will say you can do that too, but you have to open each object file to get it. Mashups, Google charts.

Please remember for TM or as some vendors like to pitch as “performance management or knowledge management&# , the modules are extra and are not part of the system (at least for now). Comes with Jackdraw authoring tool, and in the tool you can use Captivate, Articulate, Camtasia & PowerPoint content. Reporting, is solid.

Virtual classrooms and smart-boards are used in a more student-centered way (not putting all the attention to one person up-front=bad). open up exciting opportunities for people to access relevant information where and when they require it. Flash will still have an impact (at least in the area of mobile learning).

At one point I ordered up a truly engaging interactive and the developer with whom I worked finally resorted to a mash up of Flash squeezed into an Articulate shell to create the most creative piece to come out of the that shop. Plus it migrates to either Flash or HTML5. The Ubiquity of Easy.
