Tweetdeck Im officially hooked to Twitter and use Tweetdeck to organize and group those I follow. Not only is Twitter great for the occasional laugh, but also a great source of information and links. But Gcal helps me keep myself organized, and now that Ive discovered CalenGoo for the iPod Im all synched up. Very nice list.

Now, Im not much of a tool user myself. Do you know of another tool besides adobe connect for creating an on demand module that has the webcam/video locked in the upper corner while having a ppt. It has a feature that allows you to add a recorded webcam layer on top of your Powerpoint, etc. Ive got some understanding of tools.

PowerPoint – Ability to integrate or use PPT in your courses. Some vendors push heavily on PPT, implying that a great WBT is really a PPT converted to Flash. The latter is slowly gaining speed, which is an advantage to LMS vendors who have a CAT in their own product – which is SCORM,PENS/IMS compliant.

This manufacturing process training course was originally delivered as a four hour plus death-by-PowerPoint classroom session (if you could see the original PPT source content, youd begin glazing over within a few slides). Ive got the PowerPoints and Word docs to prove it. Oh, except Im the developer and audio engineer too. And Im "lucky" enough to have access to the software. Im wondering if theres anything better out there. Ive done some wireframes in PPT, but I keep coming back to Word. No assessments or formal testing.
