Im literally not a gamer. Im not sure how I got into games.but I think it had something to do with PONG. But Im so lost at sea for the most part in these environments. But Im no gamer. That said, Im a little concerned that the gamer mentality is sometimes presented as important to corporate culture and that as a result women should get into gaming. Im a bit of an über a-hole when it comes to stereotypical representations - the giggly "girl" (which is the name of this episode) just lights my match. Which is correct?

Im not sure how this relates to danah boyds recent blog article on Viewing American class divisions through FaceBook and MySpace. Im a major geek, yet I avoid Second Life and continue to be skeptical about its use in elearning. Its especially interesting to us in Brighton as Linden Labs are opening a development office here!
