Congrats to Brent who managed to attend my session, participate in the back channel, and attend a session in Second Life at the same time. That's multitasking! Supporting informal learning? It appears (based on a couple of comments - see Back Channel Use ) that it was somewhat difficult to do both. Good question.

Is multimedia the same as multitasking? I havent gone through their citations yet, but I wonder if part of what was being tested was having identical information presented in both visual and auditory channels. I dont think the answer is to only show a visual, or only have audio. Otherwise, whats the point of multi-media?
