This authoring tool was Toolbook, and I believe it was version 9. There were some small jobs done in Lectora and Storyline along the way as well, but I didn’t spend enough time in either to form a solid opinion. I’ve not actively used Toolbook in many years. Of course, this wouldn’t be very fair to Toolbook.

So I offered to create the updates myself, if they would pay for authoring software. I’ve expanded to using Toolbook and other software. First, be aware that many LMS systems already have integrated authoring software. Know your actual needs before investing money and time in an authoring software package.
