Many of the “social learning&# tools (ex. Tools like TweetGrid allow you to track keywords related to your niche of learning and technology. Several LMS companies offer user groups and conferences, and I would highly recommend that you check one out if you work closely with an LMS. Cornerstone. GeoLearning. blogs, wikis, etc.)

Social learning solution? Says they can track digital content such as VR and iOT. Uh, I wonder about the iOT, because who is heck is saying, “Hey I have iOT content on my smartwatch, we need to track that baby.” A LRS is ideal and a perfect fit within an LMS (and subsets). . LRS as a component. Standalone, API.
