The 2012 Federal Consortium for Virtual Worlds Conference will be held May 16 (workshops) and May 17-18 (main conference program) at the National Defense University in Washington DC. Registration will be available in January through pay.gov. Registration fees for onsite participation is $75 per day ($75 for workshops and $150 for main conference program).

Every year I talk about our Corporate Advisory Council (CAC) conference at Bloomsburg University and describe how well the students perform at that event. They present a solution to a Request for Proposal (RFP) to a group of corporate professionals (many are alums of the program). The corporate professionals evaluate each groups written proposal, prototype and presentation and the professionals then choose a winner.
