In 2000, I built my own LMS for a company, and was hired to create an e-learning program for customer training, as well as run a training division with ILT still in play (blended). The biggest and best known of the initial RCATs is Articulate Studio, which uses PowerPoint as a cornerstone to their product. . ADDIE - Should be punted into outer space. As you are aware I am not a fan of AICC – useful in early 2000’s, but IMO not that useful today. In my opinion it has outweighed its usefulness.

I recall a study I once saw way in the early 2000’s that found that folks who loved e-learning were truly independent learners and those who did not, were not.
