In 2002, a company created video courses that were AICC compliant and could be bookmarked. Throughtout the short existence of e-learning, there are dozens of more companies who ended up in the same way. How can this work with e-learning? We also are aware that mobile learning is the new “buzz&# in the e-learning world.

It is interesting to note, that many of the vendors are targeting the SMB space, especially the small size (less than 500 employees) market. What is of note, is that this is not new in terms of systems being offered “in the cloud” This was happening back when e-learning began, with quite a few systems in the cloud by 2002.
