I used PowerPoint 2003 and just set the capture area on a blank slide. Since I have a tablet with the tablet OS, I can write in PPT. As far as Articulate, the color changes for the player can only be made in the template player section. Whatever you do to your graphics or PPT file do not change the player template scheme.
