It seems to me that FaceBook is a great networking tool. Then again, perhaps Im missing something. Gin" stands for Group Interactive Network. It seems to me that a system like this could provide some of the networking that FaceBook provides -- within an organization -- and provide a lot of content. Have you heard of it?

Wednesday, February 25, 2009 Multi Generational Learning in the Workplace My notes may be spotty here.eating and twittering. The Connected Worker 21st century knowledge worker/learner "Im only as good as my network." Kids use tools like MySpace, FB etc. Shift is not to do what youre supposed to do. Do it when you want.

Back to the Google Desktop -- Im playing around a bit with the searching capabilities and am seeing the light. Im struggling a bit with figuring out how to set the preferences so that it searches where I need it to search (I save most of my files to a shared network drive; not locally). Very useful feature.
