This year we will focus on the top ten authoring tools for 2013. Was in the top 10 for 2012 and stays in for 2013. While they do offer a free version – which is quite nice, the fee based version (which isn’t that pricey) offers a stronger set of features. Text to Speech – awesome!

Here is how these new rankings will work throughout 2013: Debut this month, update in July, final top 25 in Dec. Offers three versions. #7 They are reporting that in March 2013 you will be able to output to HTML5. That said, the enterprise version is really strong. Therefore, new rankings are in order.

Text to speech – Very nice – everyone should offer this feature. They offer two versions, but this is in reference to the paid version. Work offline with their optional Studio Server – extra charge. The free version is very nice, but this is all about the paid version. Collaboration.
