My take is that Bridge is going the way of some LMS/Learning Platforms that pitch either the “non-traditional” angle or “focus on features” people only need angle or “simple, easy to use angle” with simple as the key word. . Another top 50 for 2014, that dropped out in 2015. SuccessFactors.

I didn’t sit there or zip around and count every vendor by genre or category, nor did I sit around and count them up in the catalog, but my personal takeaway was the following: Strong number of LMS vendors. Anyway, if you were talking a LMS vendor as I would define them, there were a lot, but there was not 100 of them, let alone 45. .

I identify the Big Dogs as SumTotal by Skillsoft (yes, that is the actual name), Cornerstone OnDemand, Saba, SucessFactors and Oracle Taleo (although, I ask myself who is using this and if you still are why?). I recall at ATD this past year, a vendor who was trying to sell people ahead of time their LMS. If you are willing to wait it out, until many of features I would find useful (and in many cases standard among the LMS space), then this is a system to explore. They sell the system two ways. The LMS is solid.
