A course is SCORM compliant when it meets the requirements of the standard set by the ADL. The basic set up of a SCORM compliant course is simple, here is how it works: You create a course in an e-Learning authoring tool (like easygenerator) or in a LMS. There is a new standard in development that will be the next generation of SCORM.

When you see many of these awards from organizations – the general mass of them (but not all of them) require the vendor/company to submit an application for whatever category or categories. There is never any pay for play here – even my vendor clients are aware that they may not win best of the best. An additional note.
