The fact that this is one of the general sessions at ASTD TechKnowledge is interesting way to start 2009. While large scale adoption will be slow, specific solutions aimed at particular audience needs will be more common. This will increase adoption of Web 2.0 eLearning 2.0 during 2008.

Thus, limited education resources would better be devoted to adopting other educational practices that have a strong evidence base, of which there are an increasing number. We conclude therefore, that at present, there is no adequate evidence base to justify incorporating learning-styles assessments into general educational practice.
