I can honestly say, the ATD show is changing from ILT driven (it has always been that way) to e-learning improvement. This year, I estimated a 55/60% e-learning, including some ILT vendors offering some type of e-learning component. . This is their authoring tool. Thank you, thank you. The ones who may not are those who identify themselves as “Training mgt systems and alike” – because they are really focused on the course authoring tool and are not a LMS in the true sense of the word. Schedule ILT courses – typically appears in the event mgt section. SCORM/AICC/PENS/IMS.

I have always liked their Microsoft Office courses which appear as the software itself with tutorial capabilities of “show me, assist me, let me do it” angle. They do have e-learning courses, besides their ILT. I still believe you can do more with e-learning than ILT. Course rating: B+. Frankly they are massive.

The bummer factor is that in order to use it with “your content”, you have to buy Genie, their authoring tool, which is a separate price point. . Supports nearly all verticals, but strong spots tend to be software/hardware technology, retail, hospitality and manufacturing. Support is good. #7 about three months). .
