You might have chat rooms (my system, the one I initially built, and then the one I purchased – GeoLearning), forums, discussion boards, a library (mine did, including checkout capabilities), even classrooms (the appearance of them, I never used it). Other fun tidbits AICC was the leader here, then came SCORM. Sure folks.

To see the modules, select “products” Ideal for higher education and academia, it packs a whallop. The product offers a nice set of modules, but alas, only the two above are free. From a feature standpoint the product is slick. AICC/SCORM/IMS. That said, it is the product to beat. itslearning.

LMS Satisfaction Features and Barriers

Most of the time (as is the case with Oracle) these are different products. I know the folks from CornerStone and their product does some really interesting things. As these systems catch up, this will make the market really hard for Saba and SumTotal. However, when you get low counts, the numbers are highly suspect.

#HRTECH Learning Vendors Preview – Who to see and who to avoid

Between the two systems, I am leaning more towards LMS365, just because I honestly believe it has a future in the SharePoint space much more so than their other product (nothing against it, but…). I’m not sure why they “appear” as separate products on their site. SumTotal by Skillsoft.
