I was using DazzlerMax and Authorware, which are superior offerings for creating courses. The UI/UX though was far superior to ST (in comparison). At the time, I hated it. I looked at the templates and thought that anybody could create a course without knowing anything about ID or e-learning development, which wouldn’t be good.

Product Review – Articulate Storyline 2

New Slide – Create a new page, chapter, lesson, whatever, generally speaking Slide screams PPT and no offense to the person who has been doing ID for x number of years, if you said “slide” to someone working on Authorware back in the day, you would have gotten a head slap. Frustration is setting in at this point.

Anyone who used Authorware can attest to that. This will require you of course, to read said paper-based chapter and pick out those key points, as a comparison. Anyway, joy was not there, because it required double the work. Authoring tools were limited options and each one was not easy to just pick up and start building.
