Today, I am sharing my views on the 3 widely used tools -Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, and Lectora Inspire 16. Articulate Storyline 2, Adobe Captivate 9 and Lectora Inspire 16. Articulate Storyline and Adobe Captivate support Mac and Windows Operating systems where as Lectora supports Microsoft Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8,and 10.

Extremely feature rich – can compete with Captivate and other authoring tools. If you do not have or use IE, you can download a desktop version to build, sort of defeats the purpose of SaaS. Image – jpg,tiff,bmp,png. Good, Average & Poor. Slow when building your course or content (more on that later).

Its complete in that it contains just about all the applications you need for building an engaging elearning platform and the applications are integrated in that they work well together, for example, when you update an asset (external file) in Captivate's Library, it is automatically updated in the Library, which provides a seamless workflow.
