This news from Broadcom and Adobe certainly caught my attention. This is not only a great opportunity for Adobe Flash, but opens up many, many opportunities for Flash developers and hopefully e-learning designers.
For now I am going to assume a content developer’s kit (CDK) will be provided by Adobe and the TV remote will act in the same manner as a Flash enabled phone’s key pad, recognizing key presses, etc. It has been announced that Flash will be available on TVs! This will now place rich Internet applications (RIA) on TVs, using Flash Lite Player 3.

Tags: Software Adobe Getting Starte One of the most frustrating things for me to learn in AS 3.0 was being able to find my movie clips in the code. I usually work on a single Flash timeline with lots of nested movie clips that make up my elearning: Frame 1 has an intro movie clip, Frame 2 introduces the course, etc.

Adobe released a new elearning development platform a short while back for instructional designers and developers aptly titled eLearning Suite . The suite also contains Adobe Presenter for rapid development of PowerPoint to elearning conversions if needed; however, I believe the majority of designers will prefer to use Captivate.
To help with the creation of content Adobe ELearning Suite also contains:
It is a complete and tightly integrated solution for authoring rich learning content. Its complete in that it contains just about all the applications you need for building
