Samsung Galaxy S is expected to be the first real challenger to the iPad, it runs on Android OS, offers Flash 10.1 Again, the iPad runs with HTML5, not Flash nor Java. True, the other tablets and Samsung offer Flash 10.1 and Java, but they offer HTML5 too. Same issue occurred with Opera – used Flash and Java.

A couple of rapid content authoring tool vendors are incorporating HTML5 features in their tool, which can be used on tablets, and of course the iPad. Emerging Technology. Well, guess what.

If emerging technology has taught us anything, it is only a matter of time until it bounces into our space. When people think Kinect technology, they think X-Box 360. Kinect technology was not created at a Microsoft lab, rather it was created by a group of folks in Cambridge, England. HTML5 support – sorry Flash fans .

Social Learning – must have social learning functionality beyond just the standards FB like page, microblog, RSS feed, upload video, follow me thing, these are systems that either advertise themselves as SLMSs or have a significant strong set of SL features. Social Learning is limited. Use Skype within their system.
