This does say a lot about the current job market. This is when I thought of some ways in which freshers might be able to fight their way through this tough market. Times are changing. Getting a job as a fresher is no longer so easy, I guess. At least that’s what the popular job portals in India tell me.  I

There’s a beautiful write up about this video on Mike Wesch’s Digital Ethnography blog . From an instructional design and teacher point of view there are so many little tidbits in this video that make me chuckle. Forrester released a report today about the 'community platforms' market. era and over the past few years a lot of enterprise community products have come onto the market. It also highlights areas of the market yet to adopt eLearning systems as Chief Research Officer Sam S. The question becomes, where's the market? As a result of company's taking responsibility for learning, they were the primary market for learning products and services and the learning industry (at least in terms of corporate education and training) has been totally geared toward that market.They PAID for learning, so they were the target market. There's still a NEED for ongoing learning, but I think the market for this is going to shift to individuals rather than being delivered through employers. As part of the ongoing conversation on the future business models for learning with Tony Karrer, I mentioned in both my blog post and in a comment on Tony's blog that I think we're going to see a move away from companies and organizations to individuals as the consumers of learning products and services.
