The SEC just mandated human capital disclosure: What does this mean for you?

Securities and Exchange Commission mandated human capital disclosure by all companies selling securities in the United States. The rule is effective Nov. 9 and there is no grace period, so publicly traded companies will need to disclose material human capital information starting with their Nov.

The SEC has published its final rule on human capital reporting

Securities and Exchange Commission just published its final rule on human capital reporting on Aug. This follows the proposed rule issued one year ago on Aug. The final rule makes very few changes to the proposed rule discussed in my Aug. companies issuing stocks, bonds or derivatives.

Update on the SEC and ISO initiatives for human capital reporting

CLO Magazine

Securities and Exchange Commission proposed their first rule for human capital reporting one year ago in August 2019. No final rule has been issued yet, in part likely due to the SEC’s need to address more pressing COVID-related issues. Hopefully, the final rule will be issued during the next 12 months.

Human capital disclosure may soon be mandated by the SEC

Earlier this year I wrote about the first-ever ISO standards for human capital reporting, which were published in December. Securities and Exchange Commission just published proposed rulemaking, which, if implemented, will bring human capital disclosure to U.S would be voluntary and slow.
