When I do find interesting tools I will keep track of them using my Delicious account. So, I browsed "Tools" by keyword on eLearningLearning. I also like to make occasional visits to Google Labs and Adobe Labs to "keep up" with the tech tools they are working on and to test drive any beta versions available.

My gut says these tools are going to be separate from the LMS, e.g., SharePoint. the general conclusion was that the LMS was really about housing finished course materials that need close tracking. For web pages, wiki pages, PDFs, Word Docs and other standard content that's easy. In the post What Goes in the LMS?
