At one time, you could be “certified” with AICC and yes certified with SCORM, but why would you want to be? I’ve never heard someone say, “Sheesh, I need an LMS that is SCORM certified, or what your authoring tool is not AICC certified? I still see course libraries that are only AICC. Here is my take.

At least SCORM support – Plenty still support AICC. 2004 (3rd edition) included. Only a few support PENS, which is a shame, because it really does some very cool things. Collaboration/Peer Review – For the vendors who are more advanced, time stamps, version status, SME names or initials are included. .

A robust system that contains everything from a perfect score in my learning environment functionaliy to administration (also a perfect score) to content curation, video management (with auto detection FPS) to the ability to accept course standards including xAPI and PENS. Knowledge Arcade (mobile) is very good especially with battles.
