The OER movement was the trigger for the MOOCs then. Many smart employees who have invested time and effort in building their own learning networks are turning to their PLNs (Personal Learning Networks) for help at the point of need. It’s time to acknowledge that the learners are active participants in the system, and not just consumers of courses. Curate from existing sources – Tap into MOOCs, and other existing OERs. Genuine feedback comes with the intent to help improve, provide insight, and either reaffirms a practice or encourages change.
